Motorola announced the $179 Moto G phone

Motorola has presented the new Moto G entry-level phone that delivers modern smartphone experience for a very reasonable price. The Moto G features 4.5-inch HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB or 16GB of internal storage, built-in 2070mAh battery, and a 5-megapixel camera.

CyanogenMod Installer arrives in Google Play store

CyanogenMod has released a new installer app that makes it easy to install custom ROM. The installer comes in two parts: Windows client and a companion Android application. The installation process requires connecting your device to a Windows PC (CyanogenMod team currently working on OSX support) and running a Windows MSI file. You don’t need a rooted device, and even do not need to manually unlock bootloader.

Android 4.4 KitKat Updates Available for Nexus 4, 7, 10

This week Google has released Android 4.4 KitKat factory images for all its Nexus phones and tablets. The updates are available for download and users can manually install them.

Google Glass Official Waiting List

Google has started “The Glass Explorer Program” which is actually a waiting list for those who want to became Google Glass beta tester. The program is opened only for US residents and there’s no guarantee that you’ll receive invitation.
